Kanavai meettu thaarungaL

Tholaindha mugaththai manam thedudhey
(The mind searches for the lost face in the crevices of Evenings &
The intricate lanes in itself)

Veyyil taar ozhugum nagaara veedhigaLil
Meiyal koNdu maLar vaadudhey
(The flower is losing its freshness by ambulating through
Molten Tar filled city roads in Heat)

Megam sindhum iru thuliyin idaiveliyil
Thurivi thurivi unnai thedudhey
(The mind filters & searches for you even
In the gap between two rain drops)

Udaiyum nuraigaLilum tholaindha kaadhalanai
Urugi urugi manam thedudhey
(The mind searches for its lost Lover with great
Sorrow.even in broken bubbles)
Azhagiya thirumugam oru muram paarthaal
Amaidhiyul niRaindhuiruppen
(If I see your beautiful Face just once, I will be
Contempt with silence)

Nuniviral koNdu orumurai theendu
NooRu muRai piRandhiruppen
(Touch me with your Finger tip.
I will be born a Hundred times!!)

(By seeing the shadow,
My heart will reach its ecstasy
Thinking that it's you!!)

Ore parvai ada ore varthai ada
Ore thodudhal manam yengudhey
(The mind longs for just one Look or
Just one Touch.)

Muththam podum andha moochchin veppam adhu
Niththam vendumendru vendudhey
(It wants & wishes for that warmth given by your
Breath while kissing.Everyday!!)

Vervai pooththa undhan sattai vaasam
Endru ottum endru manam yengudhey
(My mind is yearning for a day when your
Sweat-filled shirt would embrace me!)

Mugam poothhirukkum mudiyil ondrirandu
Kuththum inbam kannam ketkudhey
(The cheek longs for the pleasurable pricking of
Your 'stubbled' face.!)

Ketkudhey...
(It longs.)

PaaRayil seidhadhu en manam endru
Thozhikku solliyirundhen
(I had told my friend that my heart is a Rock)

PaaRayin idukkil ver vitta kodiyaai
Nee nenjil muLaiththu vittai
(But You have emerged in my heart like a plant that roots
Itself in the cracks of a Rock).
