About the song:

"Now You Know" was recorded at the same time as "Dig Me Out", back in 1992. The "pig sound" in the beginning is Ia screaming through a cheap distortion pedal. The guitar sound is the old infamous Sharp tape-recorder (with some frequencies in the low end added through a bass amp), eq:ed to death.
The short, cracking sound just when the main riff is back after the solo is a plastic bag, later used on "Proud to be Plastic".
