I have this habit of knowing
Just when you'll descend.
You have a new script in hand,
Wait for it to kick in.

Don't know where to start ... maybe trash my guitars.
Take a look around,
Its a terrible mess you've made of your life.
I memorized a few lines from a get well card.

Well, I come in from the hinterlands.
"Yeah, what did you see?"
The city's in mourning, its all over TV.
Now everyone has the intellect of an angst-riddled teen.
Look around, look around, look around
And you'll see life is hard.
Don't know where to start ... maybe crash my car.
Take a look around,

Take a look and I think you'll find
